"We first poured our creative energies together in creating the artworks for Purl's ‘SKY’ trilogy. Not speaking a common language, we used translators to convey our ideas, though it often felt like trying to squeeze celestial visions into lego blocks and then have a computer scrambling and rebuilding them. Thankfully we don't rely on words alone." Ludvig (Purl) has consistently been pouring out profundly touching electronic music ever since his debut close to two decades ago. Releasing under a host of aliases (including Illuvia, Eternell, Alveol and Ziyal), his first alias Purl remains rooted in a sound established across numerous releases on revered record labels in the ambient sphere, such as Silent Season, A Strangely Isolated Place, Archives and Dewtone. Alexander (Ayaavaaki) is a music artist of Kazakhstani and German origin. He is an accomplished tattoo artist, painter, designer and an integral part of LILA लीला, Ludvig's own imprint, established in 2021. Their debut album is a cosmic saga about origins, connection, integration and rebirth.

the contours of identity fading.
The distress call long since silenced,
no longer any ideas left of who could respond.
An infinite surprise; a sunrise.
In the midst of a dark void, a swirl of light.
With echoes of a song sung before life became life.
Memories from a world existing long before the world now known,
still lived now through the vortex of time.
And the song we sang before the first dawn
is heard again by the ones who journey on forever.
