Quiet North

Thank you everyone who joined Drew (Slow Dancing Society) and I for the intimate sharing of our second Hallow Under offering on our Bandcamp listening party! I believe this is the most calming and loving aural embrace either of us has thus far been able to give form to. It was rewarding to note how touched those who joined were from wandering with us through these quiet, emotional songs of awe and wonder.

It has been more than 4 years since the debut came out from our collaboration, and this second offering actually began life almost exactly 2 years before then! A few weeks prior to our first in person meeting in the majestic embrace of the Pacific Northwest, I recorded some piano improvisations in autumnal Sweden prompted by Drew encouraging me to let the instrument capture my feelings right before going on my North American odyssey. Those recordings became the foundation of Quiet North.
